So my favorite time of the year is rolling around...AWARD SEASON! ontop of 534654646 award shows that occur during that season..its my birthday!...the weathers cool! and most of all the holidays are OUT of the way!....the nominations for the only 50th Annual Grammys came out last week and i must say for the most part..this year...its the best showcase of talent and deserving nominations that the grammys have seen in YEARS...ofcourse in true grammy fashion when they hit they HIT (Amy and Kanye deserved every nomination!) and when they miss they MISS (Souljah boy? seriously?)..and most of all WHERE THE FUCK IS JOSS STONE!?!?!?...But Im throwing in my 2cents on the categories i give a shit about on who should win and who will win while adding alil commentary here and there
Record Of The Year (Award to the Artist and to the Producer(s), Recording Engineer(s) and/or Mixer(s), if other than the artist.)
- Beyonce - Irreplaceable
- Foo Fighters -The Pretender
- Rihanna - Umbrella
- Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...Comes Around
- Amy Winehouse - Rehab
This award isnt for the actual artist but for the Producers and the Engineers and what not...so stans NO beyonce doesnt deserve this award simply because she can make gale force winds seem "fierce"...Im going with Rehab because Mark Ronson is an absolute Genius! but we kno the Foo Fighters will take it because yanno...U2 and the Dixie chicks sat this year out
